Tendencies of Chinese subways’ spatial growth in 2000-2020

One of the main transportation problems biggest modern cities is excessively high load on ground transport, which why development subway networks particular importance. This article analyzes spatial structure in China. Currently China shows an intensive growth existing and massive openings new networks, makes it most suitable object for studying evolution networks. The methodology developed by K. Kansky S. A. Tarkhov was used as theoretical basis this study. study conducted analyzing dynamics quantitative topomorphological indicators during their passage through stages evolution. following were used: number subways, total length network, cycles topological layers each them, branching tiers, area share cyclic core distribution between elements network structure, average cycle size, limit, cyclization index circuity index.
